Nosh on the Namoi is a festival celebrating and promoting local and regional produce and culture through glorious food and wine, art, music and performance within the unique environment of the Namoi River, Narrabri.

Nosh on the Namoi 2011 promises to stimulate your senses with something for the whole family to enjoy ...

  • TASTE & SMELL the wide variety of local and regional food and produce and local and regional wines, thirst quenching beers and fine teas and coffees
  • LEARN the cooking secrets of returning guest chef Ed Halmagyi from Better Homes & Gardens
  • COMPETE in the Courier Cookoff to become Narrabri's Home Cook Hero
  • ADOPT a tomato for the Relish Mighty Red Tomato Race
  • DELIGHT the kids with live childrens shows, activity tent and competitions
  • LISTEN to jazz band Champagne Charlie
  • DANCE the night away at Nosh Night Out, on Friday 8 April 2011; with a market style dinner with food, wine and entertainment. 
  • Visitors to Nosh on the Namoi are welcome from 10am and will enjoy free admission to the festival.
  • Tomatoes for adoption will be available throughout March and April.
